A New View

Quick update for today:

Judi was able to spend some time sitting up today. Her whole view of the world has changed! She has been moving her hands some, which she didn't do before. She also seems to be more alert already. We are continuing to be hopeful for some big steps forward soon.

  5. Jess, you and Steve are doing a wonderful job in keeping us updated on Judi's well-being. But I really need for you to let Judi know that I really have needed her these past few weeks in that we have been remodeling our kitchen and I sure could have used her advise and ideas as we went through this process. When she comes home, I can't wait for her to see it and by that time, I will have time to sit by the pool with her. Keep the information flowing.

  10. Pam and I have been out of town for a few days and as we sat and read the last 3 entries we realized how quickly things can get better. The old watched pot.....syndrome. Jessica, such words of insight from such a young lady. Yes, every once in awhile it is good to stop and take an accounting so you can reprioritize as necessary, unfortunately most people, Pam and I included, only do this when a major life changing event happens. I know deep down in my heart that Judi and Jessica and Steve will all be alright. It won't be tomorrow but it will happen. Sorry, I waxed philosophical for just a moment. Ya'll have our prayers daily and our help when you need it. God Bless.

  11. Life can be exciting and life can be dull. It's what you make of it. Judi has the courage of a lion. She has taken chances that I never had the nerve to do. I can only imagine the freedom she felt riding a Harley. I don't think she would have changed any of her decisions given the chance. She sits beside me at work. I heard all the stories and even rolled my eyes sometimes. I just want her to return and I would listen to those stories a hundred more times without hesitation. I don't think you really know how close you are to a coworker and how much you take for granted until something happens. I sit and smile sometimes when I do something that would have aggravated her. I can hear her voice in my head. "Carla, Don't quit your day job." I just miss her and wish her back to work. She is in my prayers and in my heart. Keep PUSHING Judi! I know you can do it!

  12. God not only takes care of his flock but his "angels" also. Judi is one of his angels. She was an angel to my husband, Vic Snowden, before he passed away and she was also "my angel" because I could call on her and she was always there to help. When either one of us was down, Judi would always put a smile on our face. I will never forget her and her goodness she gave to both my husband and to me. Judi is truly a gift from God.
